As a CIO, Michael has maintained a laser focus on building a strong technology infrastructure in order to pursue digital transformation. He has consolidated data centers, implemented CRM systems, and devised back-office environments and shared service centers. His broad and deep understanding of technology and discerning business acumen work in concert as he drives complex ERP implementations. Known for an ability to ignite the delivery model, he streamlines and standardizes methods to improve efficiency and create resilience across the enterprise. Across his career, Michael has been involved in the acquisition and integration of more than thirty companies in Europe and North America. His leadership of key workstreams during the due diligence process segued into ensuring the integrated IT organization achieved rapid system assimilation. He frequently called upon to direct the operations team as it pursued process rationalization after each transaction. Of note, Michael played a key leadership role in growing a services company from $250 million to nearly $5 billion in revenues while advance the enterprise from Fortune 100 Fastest-Growing Companies to the NASDAQ and then the NYSE. A professional highlight was taking point to organize the marquee opening bell ringing ceremony twice. After its IPO on NASDAQ as a healthcare staffing firm, ASGN pursued a strategy shift which led the company to focus solely on technology services and then step up to the Big Board.
Michael graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from DePaul University. He continued his professional studies at Pennsylvania State University with coursework in tool & die design and mechanical engineering. As a recognized thought leader, Michael has been involved with the Staffing Industry Technology Council, Wall Street Journal CIO Network, and several industry expert networks. He enjoys music, offshore sailing, travel, and motorsports.
