Gary Bronson is a Partner in Fortium Partners’ West Region, where he serves a range of industries including logistics/transportation, retail/supply chain, architecture/engineering/construction, telecommunications, title insurance and real estate companies.  Leveraging his background in finance, he has developed cost-effective IT resource plans and successfully led technology teams through culture change at Fortune 50, public, and private enterprises.  Gary excels in organizations seeking to modernize or transform operations.  He is adept at driving business process optimization, infrastructure consolidation, and cloud migrations.  His executive experience includes managing technology integration related to ten M&A transactions, outsourcing initiatives, and implementation of SaaS solutions.  

As a senior IT executive, Gary led the design and implementation of strategy and operations that blended onshore teams with offshore resources.  He consolidated help desk servicing to a single enterprise service desk providing global support for all operating companies.  Gary built a world class command center that functions as a central support integration point and provides visibility to all IT services worldwide.  He also initiated a framework to correlate business process, introduced use of log analysis to reduce mean time to detection, and incorporated security in the tech ops footprint.  His commitment to innovation led the University of Memphis to launch a student-run call center providing IT support services to FedEx.

As management consultant and interim IT leader, Gary provides leadership direction to implement processes that drive accountability, resolve cultural issues, and improve vendor relations.  He has led the evaluation of new enterprise systems and the turnaround of a failed financial implementation projects, among many projects.  

Gary graduated from California State University at Long Beach with a Bachelor of Science in Business and Finance.  His core knowledge of finance provides a solid foundation for managing tight budgets and annual capital plans while managing the business aspects of IT.  Gary is a sought-after speaker on topics such as data center operations, outsourcing, and cloud transformations.  He is an avid fly fisherman.
