John Mobley is a partner in the Florida practice of Fortium Partners. As both a finance and technology leader who has served in CFO and CIO roles, he has a unique talent in turning technology-centric IT departments from cost centers into laser-focused customer service business partners that accelerate revenue boosts. Mobley leverages three decades of experience, including seven years as a Big Four consultant, to design transformative business processes that ensure a competitive advantage.

Prior to joining Fortium, Mobley served as both the finance technology leader and CFO of Stellar Recovery Inc., a third-party recovery service which manages Fortune 500 client portfolios of $1.2 billion where he architected and executed solutions that enabled the company to grow 46 percent each year for three years. At Stellar Recovery, he also launched new accounting solutions to maximize staff efficiency and employed Six Sigma to streamline financial reporting and move the enterprise from a reactive to a proactive position. Prior to his tenure at Stellar Recovery, Mobley served as CIO of AFNI Financial Services, a $220 million business process outsourcing and recovery firm for Fortune 500 clients employing 5,000 employees, where he launched three e-commerce systems while using cloud technologies to replace failing legacy systems. He also increased customer service capacity, including data analytics capabilities, which resulted in $15 million increase in annual revenues.

Earlier in his career, Mobley served as CIO for West Corporation, a global technology and business process outsourcing firm, where he owned all aspects of the IT organization across 40 call centers with a $72 million budget and acted as a key member of the executive management team that grew the company from $350 million to $1.4 billion in five years. Prior to West Corporation, Mobley served in senior finance and technology positions for AGL Resources, CMS Energy and Deloitte. For five years, Mobley served as the CFO, CIO, and co-founder of Project Success Audit, a consulting firm, where he worked with clients such as Utility Associates, Georgia Hardwoods and Kadent Healthcare.

Mobley holds degrees as a master of professional accountancy and bachelor of business administration from Georgia State University. He is also certified as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Project Management Professional and CPA. In his spare time, Mobley enjoys home remodeling and frequently plays golf.
