Tom is a Fortium Partner who builds value in client businesses by assembling IT talent and systems that align with the culture and direction of the company.  He leads by casting a compelling vision that gains buy-in from both business leaders and technical teams.  He quickly discerns the strengths and opportunities of an organization then takes decisive action to achieve the best outcome.  Tom is highly regarded as a collaborative partner who is calm when others are anxious and focused on the vision when the path forward is hard.  He helps small and medium sized businesses reap the benefits of technology, just like the big corporations.  His experience includes M&A plus healthcare, financial services, automotive, logistics, and manufacturing industries.

As CIO, Tom set the IT vision for two national healthcare organizations that transformed themselves to deliver exceptional patient care at a scale that had been impossible.  The efficiencies gained made it financially viable to provide care for underserved populations that had been unreachable.  He is a champion for enabling caregivers to deliver compassionate and efficient patient care. Tom recruits technology teams, mentors their development, and guides them to support rapid enterprise expansion through acquisitions, de novo startups, and organic growth. Teams that he coaches serve the caregiver community with the same urgency and compassion that the caregiver provides to the patient.

Tom graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Northern Kentucky University.  He continued his studies at Xavier University, where he earned a Master of Business Administration.  Tom is a servant in the community.  He invests in youth through the Xavier College of Business mentor program, scouting, and serves in leadership roles at his church. He is also on the Advisory Board of Kid Glove Association, a nonprofit which provides baseball and softball equipment to hundreds of area teams and schools and helps kids to attend Cincinnati Reds games.
