Simon joined Fortium Partners with deep experience leading IT and business operations in highly regulated banking environments. His success driving change has propelled large and small organizations to achieve strategic growth and transformation goals. He has strong expertise in operational management, technology leadership, and client engagement. Simon brings a unique hybrid perspective to problem solving as he leverages his business management acumen and technology insight. He works to develop scalable, cost effective, and sustainable IT strategy and operating models for global financial services firms. His ability to recruit and manage teams reflects a leadership style which is positive, engaging, and collaborative.

As a CIO and COO, Simon delivered technology solutions to improve Investment Banking productivity and profitability at a global financial institution.  He led strategic initiatives to strengthen CRM capabilities, migrate on-premises systems to the cloud, and transform operations through automation.  Simon has diverse experience leading compliance, legal, finance, and facilities teams in addition to technology professionals.  As a Chief Operating Officer of a boutique investment bank and financial advisory firm, Simon successfully navigated the firm through the post-pandemic period and a seamless shift to a hybrid work model.  He driven complex operational transformation projects that aligned technology and processes with business strategy to ensure the firm’s continued success.  As a financial services professional, he is FINRA Series 7 and 24 registered.

Simon graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computing and Informatics from the University of Plymouth in the United Kingdom.  He serves as a board member of Cents Ability, a New York City-based nonprofit dedicated to educating and empowering high school students to achieve their goals through the prudent and informed management of their financial resources.  He is a licensed private pilot with twenty years of experience.  Simon also enjoys skiing, classic cars, cycling, and an avid follower of Formula One racing.
