Shawn joined Fortium Partners with decades of IT leadership with companies across diverse industries.  As an executive in the consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, and manufacturing sectors, he has championed automation, process improvement, and business intelligence to drive sustainable growth.  Shawn has established the foundational systems and designed custom software applications to transform operations, increase data insights, and propel business evolution.  He has launched data warehouse solutions designed to open the path for improved decision support tools and analytics.  Shawn has also created scalable and connected applications to strengthen corporate infrastructure, product development, and customer care.  His achievements leading major technology projects and IT due diligence for M&A transactions reflect a keen understanding of sales, finance, and operations. 

As a CIO and CTO, Shawn tackled complex challenges impacting enterprise sustainability.  He cultivated partnerships with vendors, business units, and executive peers as he set a technology plan to drive transformational change.  He led the redesign of the IT organization, implementation of ERP and CRM systems, and restructuring of a data warehouse – all projects directed to improve customer service and create insights.  Shawn encouraged collaboration to boost productivity by developing real-time IT and telecommunications solutions. While working for a private-equity backed company, he led seamless integration of the technology aspects of multiple acquisitions and portfolio expansion.

Shawn graduated with Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration in Information Technology from Northern Kentucky University.  He continued his professional development achieving Six Sigma Green Belt and Lean Six Sigma certifications.  Active in industry associations, Shawn is involved with the CIO Council, Builder Technology Leadership Group, and the former CEB IT Leadership Council (now Gartner).  He is especially fond of time spent volunteering with Engineering for Kids, where he serves on their technology committee.  Outside of the office, he enjoys traveling, boating, and college football.
