Ron Belmont is a partner in the Phoenix/Las Vegas region of Fortium Partners. He brings more than 35 years of experience in organizational change management through technology leadership, facing the challenge of putting the right people and organizational structures in place to achieve business goals that span years. Most recently, Belmont was CIO for Mobile Mini, Inc., where he used a five-year strategic plan to transform the infrastructure into an industrial strength platform. There, he significantly improved system availability translating into improved revenues and customer service, rationalized the application portfolio, retired25 applications resulting in reduces licensing fees, established a PMO and governance process and prepared the organization for an application replacement program (SAP). Before Mobile Mini, he was the CIO for Prudential Financial, where he transformed the entire management team, then partnered with the business unit presidents to deliver strategic projects while enhancing IT support across 11 global operations groups. His efforts reduced IT infrastructure costs by 20%. Earlier in his career, Belmont served as VP of applications development for Arch Capital Services and VP of information systems for Chase Manhattan Bank. He was an equity partner for two IT startups - Brenner Technology and Sycomm Systems Corporation. Belmont holds a Data Processing degree from St. Peter’s College in Jersey City, New Jersey.
