As a CIO, Rob has driven the alignment of applications, technology, and resources while focusing on protection of the information infrastructure and defense against cyber-attacks. In highly-regulated settings, he has built a data team and designed a governance process for on-boarding of data lakes, extracts, ELTs, and user screens to create reusable intellectual property. He also created and implemented an enterprise data analytics program focused on hybrid IT and self-service models. Rob and his IT teams have been on the frontline during the introduction of new industry standards for electronic health records and HIPPA requirements.
While leading complex system upgrades and implementations, Rob has demonstrated his deep program and project management skills. For instance, he has planned and successfully executed the launch of a data analytics platform, the migration of legacy data, and the rollout of Epic, Cerner, Allscripts, and eClinicalWorks EHR modules. In each case, he advanced the organizational impact and achieved success by aligning the project objective with his own core values – urgency, optimism, efficiency, accountability, and persistence.
Since joining Fortium Partners, Rob has delivered technology governance and modernization strategies for municipalities, healthcare systems, and nonprofits. His leadership of complex engagements includes management of application portfolio rationalization, ERP optimization, and data center transitions projects.
