Ro joined Fortium Partners with extensive leadership experience at Fortune 500 companies and an entrepreneurial mindset.  His strategic vision and solid general management skills set the foundation for delivering profitable growth. He achieved notable success leading turnarounds, M&A due diligence, and complex global projects.  Ro has transformed online businesses, launched an ecommerce start-up, and scaled a digital marketplace.  His business acumen is evident as he navigates organizational change and technology evolution with grace.  A champion of innovation and value creation, he is comfortable building the business case for a new venture and spearheading key corporate initiatives.  Leveraging his broad experience across multiple industries, Ro frequently works with private equity portfolio companies on technology investment allocation and system implementations.

As a CIO and CTO, Ro has consistently improved profit margins through outsourcing, systems consolidation, and expert project leadership.  His experience building and running global ecommerce businesses is important to companies looking to expand, re-tool, or launch new platforms to reach consumers or business clients.  He has repeatedly scaled-up technology teams to ensure top talent across engineering, product management, DevOps, and quality assurance.  Ro’s business acumen yields a strong partnership with peers working in the supply chain, compliance and sales and marketing arenas.  With additional roles as a founder, investor, and CEO, he has valuable experience in fundraising, go-to-market strategy, capital investment, and enterprise governance.  He is known for building corporate culture and a great places to work.

Ro earned a Bachelor of Arts with honors in Economics from Delhi University in New Delhi, India.  He continued his studies and earned a Master of Science in Management Information Systems from Northern Illinois University and a Master of Business Administration from Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University.  Ro is an avid long-distance cycler, and he enjoys hiking in wilderness areas. Walking is his preferred mode of travel.
