He leverages his training as a software engineer as he forges innovative B2B and B2C solutions. Mike effectively communicates technological needs, resource constraints, and market opportunities with key stakeholders. Across his career, he has successfully migrated legacy systems to modern platforms that support growth and profitability. With an entrepreneurial spirit and global experience, Mike is able to move seamlessly from start-up to multinational corporate environments. He delivers valuable insights on technology challenges and issues in a concise manner as he builds consensus across an organization. A lifelong learner who has developed social media platforms that generated dozens of patents, he mentors next generation professionals to embrace curiosity.

 As a CTO, Mike led development of solutions that often-required redesign of software, hardware, and business processes. He begins with thoughtful analysis and assessment of conditions then applies a creative lens to building a new environment. Mike also prioritizes leveraging big data and integrating machine learning and AI into product offerings. He embraces product life cycle management and disciplined project management for the design, testing, and launch of new applications. His close attention to compliance and security yields products that meet and exceed requirements related to GDPR and other standards. Mike is known for astutely managing key vendors, forging positive client relationships, and sparking innovation across the enterprise. Mike was tapped as valedictorian of his class at Utah Valley University. He graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Mike holds more than thirty patents awarded over the course of his career. Outside of the office, he enjoys playing guitar, piano, and West African drums. Mike performs with dance groups on the traditional Djembe, and the Dununba, Songba, and Kiniwe bass drums of that region.
