Mary Sobiechowski is a Partner in Fortium Partners’ East Region and Europe where she is recognized as an enthusiastic technology pacesetter and digital transformation pioneer. She serves clients with a unique combination of analytic and creative abilities which complement her intuitive nature and deep experience leading global IT teams. A digital veteran and visionary, Mary builds shareholder value through innovation and the sophisticated use of technology resources. Her success driving IT strategy and implementation is based on a commitment to collaboration, communication, and business process excellence. Mary has more than 25 years of technology leadership experience as a CIO and global IT transformation leader. She boldly defines the strategic direction of product, process and innovation as she helps propel companies on a path to profitable growth. Her hallmark is accelerated, efficient, and accurate delivery of new products and enterprise systems.

As a CIO, Mary led a team of business architects, client service partners, and planning professionals in the development of a metrics-driven infrastructure and applications roadmap. She guided major projects to success including cloud migration, launch of Salesforce.com, implementation of WorkDay, and introduction of data analysis tools, among many. Her responsibilities have included risk management, oversight of PCI compliance procedures, and strengthening the security program based on NIST standards. Mary regularly championed complex digital transformation initiatives and designed technology strategy for new products. Of note, Mary helped guide the post-merger integration of five global companies into a single $250 million consultancy and market insights organization.

As a thought leader, Mary regularly participates in global forums and speaks on digital transformation, innovation, and leadership strategies. She was recognized by the HPE Matter Future Tech Blog – Five Women IT Leaders to Watch (2016) and by the Huffington Post Tech Blog – Top 100 Most Social CIOs for her widespread social media influence and collaboration.

Mary graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with distinction from Wayne State University. She is a member of the American Amsterdam Business Club, and the Society of Information Management (SIM) New York Metro and New Jersey chapters. She serves as a Mentor for the Columbia University Executive Masters of Science & Technology Management Program. In her spare time, she is an avid cyclist and yoga instructor.
