Mark Cybulski is a Partner in Fortium Partners’ Midwest region, where he primarily serves automotive, manufacturing, and utility companies. He is a change agent who can speak both the language of business functions and the language of IT. Having started on the business side he understands how IT can enable business value improvement. His business/IT ability helps him forge valued relationships with key stakeholders, clients, vendors, and peers. He has deep experience as a technology translator and liaison, the bridge between the business functions and IT, implementing and evolving IT to enable operational effectiveness, economy of scale, and profitable growth.

As a CIO, Mark successfully migrated a global enterprise to common systems and shared IT services to efficiently support profitable growth. He implemented SAP for 40 global sites with 4500 users, harmonized business processes, and improved efficiency. He advocated for central standardization balanced by local touch, managed resources in the face of extreme cost pressures, and thrived in an evolving automotive industry. Mark also worked closely with engineering, finance, and procurement colleagues as he led applications teams, e-commerce initiatives, and data center consolidation. Mark is well known for his spirit of collaboration and agility operating in global corporate cultures.
Mark graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He graduated with a Master of Business Administration from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where he pursued concentrations in finance, statistics, and operations. He is past president of the Society for Information Management (SIM), Detroit Chapter, a frequent speaker at SIM events, and a past member of the Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG). Mark is Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) by APICS.
