Julian Sparkes joined Fortium Partners with demonstrated success driving digital transformation and IT outsourcing initiatives on a global basis for more than 25 years.  A sharp focus on revenue growth, cost reduction, and profit maximization are hallmarks of his practice.  Julian is recognized as a successful turnaround CIO/CDO who uses software, technology, strategy, and business process improvement to accelerate change.  He has simplified, streamlined, and digitized IT infrastructure to enhance both the customer and the employee experience.  As a consultant, he advised multinational companies on projects to modernize business applications for the cloud, consolidate data centers, automate supply chain functions, and deploy new mobile, Internet of Things and big data applications. Julian quickly establishes rapport with technology teams, executive peers, business unit leaders, and clients.

As a proven CIO and CDO, Julian focuses on how digital solutions and outsourcing can drive grow revenues, drive cost reduction, and improve the customer experience.  He effectively leverages applications and business process improvements to modernize the enterprise.  Reflecting his thirty years of consulting experience, Julian has developed perspective, insight, and capability to drive digital transformation, innovation, and delivery excellence.  He works with clients to identify complex global challenges and design initiatives to improve operations and financial results.  His industry knowledge is wide as he has served clients in industrial manufacturing, consumer products, retail, technology, travel, and transportation, to name a few.

Julian graduated from the University of Cambridge with a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Engineering.  Away from the office, Julian enjoys golf, squash, and biking road trips across the globe.
