Successful alignment of IT delivery with business goals is a hallmark of his practice.  He focuses on process improvement, infrastructure planning, and system architecture as he elevates the IT organization to become a strategic asset of the enterprise.  With strong change agility, Jeff excels at operating in high-growth companies, multi-faceted industries, and rapidly evolving business environments.  His expertise includes spearheading complex projects, moving IT plans from concept to implementation, and designing and managing call centers in both centralized and dispersed structures.  Jeff’s career experience includes financial services, high-tech, and medtech services.  He is recognized for his considerate management of large technical teams as he champions their collective achievements and propels their professional development. 

As a CIO, Jeff set the IT strategy and guided implementation for large B2C firms.  His playbook centered on improving systems and processes, implementation of virtual private cloud infrastructure, and renegotiating contracts to achieve cost reductions.  He moved swiftly to make strategic decisions and then focused the IT team on execution and collaboration.  Jeff achieved success leading business transformation initiatives and building relationships with his executive peers.  Leveraging his industry knowledge and understanding of customer and broker priorities, Jeff recognized the opportunity for product differentiation which led to development of new web portals and software applications.  Across his career, Jeff has developed broad and deep technical proficiencies in business intelligence, cloud computing, data center management, and information security.  He brings a strong commitment to information security and process improvement as critical tools to improve the customer experience and corporate profitability.

Jeffrey graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Economics from California Polytechnic State University, San Loui Obispo.  He continued his professional development achieving certifications including Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM), and Azure and AWS Architect.  He is active in the Society of Information Management (SIM), San Diego Software Industry Council, and International Association of IT Asset Managers. He enjoys the outdoors, hiking, biking, and tending beehives.
