Jeffrey Knight is a Partner in Fortium Partners’ West region, where he primarily serves financial services companies including broker-dealers, insurance, asset management and fintech firms.  While holding executive roles of Chief Operating Officer, Chief Technology Officer, and Chief Information Officer, he forged a solid understanding of how to utilize IT to enable and advance business strategy.  His experience setting the IT vision and executing on organizational priorities has accelerated organic revenue growth and profitability at several enterprises.  He relishes the chance to revitalize an underperforming area.  For multiple acquisition and divestiture transactions, Jeff has performed due diligence and analysis on the IT strategy and resources.

As a CIO, Jeff achieved success on high-profile system migration projects and the launch of mobile applications that improve the customer experience.  He has restructured application delivery models, established a new IT infrastructure, and propelled digital transformation in complex operating environments.  He also strengthened cybersecurity and integrated technology capabilities with the sales process with notable results.  Jeff is known for embracing innovation and acting as a champion of change management.  He is adept at working in privately held companies and in highly-regulated industries.  His knowledge of Cloud and SaaS solutions is deep and relevant to companies looking to scale and gain operational efficiencies.

Jeff graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Personnel Administration from the University of Kansas.  He pursued continuing professional education at Harvard Law School and Wharton Business School.  While working in the financial services industry, Jeff held FINRA Series 99 and Series 7 licenses.
