Jeff enjoys assessing applications, product portfolios and teams, then setting the plans and providing direction to strengthen capabilities. He helps companies gain a more competitive position through alignment of technology portfolio and business strategy. He has distinctive experience crafting roadmaps that integrate technical capabilities with product strategy. Jeff offers practical knowledge of software engineering, product lifecycle, and business intelligence that contributes to an improved customer experience. His leadership of application integration strategies has covered both custom applications and EAI/IPaaS. Jeff has launched corporate analytics programs involving data warehouses, a data lake, ETL/ELT data integration processes, and visualization platforms. He recruits, coaches, and mentors diverse teams to drive digital transformation and complex change management initiatives. With a transparent, thoughtful, and intuitive demeanor, Jeff primarily serves start-ups, private equity portfolio companies, and small-cap public enterprises in the $300 million to $1.4 billion range.

As a CIO, Jeff delivers a unique blend of IT and business acumen. He has crafted product roadmaps, business intelligence solutions, and compliance strategy. His responsibilities have spanned from technical projects in ERP and CRM to working on product enhancements and ecommerce sites. An advocate for radical growth, Jeff also has a history of streamlining and improving organizational operations. He is attentive to cost management, global competition, and risk management. C-suite colleagues are impressed by his championship of emerging technologies, engineering solutions, and quality execution. Of note, Jeff led design, development, and roll-out of a full-life cycle of manufacturing execution system (MES) that was a finalist for Windows World Open/Spring Comdex in the engineering/manufacturing category. He is a gifted team leader who inspires next generation technology professionals through a positive, collaborative approach to problem solving.

Jeff graduated with a Bachelor of Science in International Business from Oregon State University. He fulfilled the requirements for a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and continued his development as he earned an Oregon Masters of Software Engineering from Oregon Graduate Institute at the Oregon Health and Science University. An accomplished athlete who competes in triathlons, marathons, ultra marathons, cycling, and swimming, Jeff also enjoys a variety of outdoor sports and pursues his artistic interests in photography, watercolors, and ceramics.
