David McCue is a Partner in Fortium Partners’ East Region, where he serves healthcare, government, aviation, and technology companies.  He provides expertise in the development and execution of complex solutions for technology, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and business transformation projects. This often includes advising clients and coaching IT teams on application development, system integration, and innovation programs.  As a former integrator executive, David guides clients in partnering with systems integrators and vendors to deliver value.  David believes in business-driven, practical innovation.

As a senior executive leader, David has managed a technology budget of $500 million and a global team of 1800 members.  He retired over one hundred legacy systems and deployed SAP modules (finance, SCM, HCM, SF, and BW) across 80 countries. In addition, David achieved $135 million in savings while transforming the IT function of a Fortune 200 firm from a fragmented, local model to an integrated global unit.  As a consultant for a Fortune 300 company, he led a Transition Program Office which designed and established an application development and integration division with a global staff of 5000 professionals.  As a volunteer mentor, he advises cybersecurity startups selected to join Mach37, an incubator affiliated with the Center for Innovative Technology.

Active in professional associations, David regularly engages with peers and colleagues on industry concerns and provides thought leadership on cyber threats and security issues.   He is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) and holds a Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK), FAA commercial pilot license and US security clearance.

David graduated summa cum laude from Rider University where he received his Bachelor of Science in Commerce and serves on the Board of Directors.  He obtained an MBA in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business.  He served as an adjunct faculty member in the Decision, Operations and Information Technologies department at the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business.  Additionally, David has lectured at the George Mason University School of Management and Co-Chaired for several years the Cybersecurity Law Institute at Georgetown Law School, where he currently serves on the Institute’s Advisory Board.
