Ray Dunn is a partner in the Los Angeles practice of Fortium Partners. He brings more than 30 years of broad industry experience in the healthcare sector working with providers, payers and vendors to maximize the value of IT and develop capabilities that enable success. Most recently, Dunn spent 18 years with EHF Group, a healthcare consulting and advisory services firm where he worked with clients on strategies to address the needs of health reform and deploy effective technology and processes. Engagements included interim CIO, operational leadership, program management, performance assessments, change management and technology roadmaps, among others. Before EHF, Dunn was the regional VP of BRC Healthcare, an IT consulting and outsourcing firm where he led operations and sales, managing a 240-employee, $40 million business unit. Prior to that, he was regional manager for Montgomery Ryland, where he was responsible for all IT outsourcing and consulting activities in the Western region, and served for more than three years as CIO for a 700-bed academic medical center. Earlier in his career, Dunn was vice president, IT for Desert Hospital, a 350-bed community hospital, and IT manager for American Hospital Supply Corp. Dunn holds an MBA from DePaul University in Chicago and a bachelor of science in business administration from the University of Illinois, Urbana. He is a Certified Professional in Health Information Management Systems (CPHIMS) and a Senior Member of the Healthcare Information Management Systems Society (SHIMSS).
