Michael Gogola is a partner in the Florida practice of Fortium Partners. As a transformational technology leader in the healthcare industry, he leverages nearly four decades of experience to create and implement bold technology solutions to produce a satisfying patient experience with streamlined processes that positively impact financial return. Prior to joining Fortium, Gogola served as the CIO of HCA International, the world’s largest private hospital group operating six world-class hospitals and seven outpatient centers in central London with annual operating revenue of $775 million, where he owned all responsibilities for vision, strategy and execution of IT. Prior to HCA International, Gogola served as CIO of Hermitage Medical Clinic, a 101-bed private hospital specializing in surgery, endoscopy, oncology and interventional diagnostics, where he managed all facets of information systems and telecommunications. Earlier in his career, Gogola was the CIO and chief privacy officer of Satilla Regional Medical Center, a 240-bed non-profit acute care hospital, where he provided leadership for information systems, health information management and telecommunications. Gogola also served in senior technology positions for Winchester Hospital, Columbia Healthcare Corporation, and Parkview Episcopal Medical Center. Gogola has been honored with the Henry Ford Health System H.I.T.S. Award and is a three-time recipient of the Hospitals and Health Networks Most Wired Award for his work at Parkview, Satilla, and Hermitage hospitals. Gogola holds an MBA from Roosevelt University and a BS in business management from the University of Wisconsin.
