John Saiz holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, in Petroleum Engineering from the New Mexico Institute of Technology and a Master of Science degree, cum laude, in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Houston. He has received numerous awards and recognition over his career including the NASA Exceptional Technology Achievement Medal in 2013, the Johnson Space Center Director’s Innovation Award in 2005 and 2010, and NASA’s Exceptional Achievement Medal in 2007.
