Dallas, TX – January 31, 2017 – FORTIUM PARTNERS, the world’s fastest-growing provider of technology leadership services, today announced that omni-channel retail technology leader Jyoti Lynch has joined the Dallas practice. Lynch brings more than 20 years of experience delivering new concepts, digital transformation and e-commerce for global brands, successfully implementing solutions for retailers like Lowe’s, Toys”R”Us, Army & Air Force Exchange, Navy Exchange, Lenox, Justice, Blockbuster, MetroPCS, and Dressbarn, among others.

Prior to joining Fortium, Lynch was CIO at Speed Commerce, an end-to-end service provider of ecommerce, fulfillment and call center services. She transformed the IT organization from 30 employees to a global team of 250 employees and contractors. Her team delivered technology solutions that generated over $1 billion in annual e-commerce client revenue. Before Speed Commerce she spent a decade with Blockbuster on both the IT and business side. Her experience there spanned from launching digital solutions across the 8,000 global Blockbuster stores to playing a pivotal management role in Blockbuster’s restructuring and acquisition efforts. Earlier in her career she served in management roles with digital content organizations like Vesta Broadband Services and Summus Limited, and also delivered millions in international business development efforts for global Fortune 500 firm ABB.

“If business leaders want to understand how technology can disrupt an industry, they need look no further than retail. Even on the local level, technology drives practically every part of the retail experience, from research and development to shopping to shipping. Jyoti has been on the front lines of the race to appeal to omni-channel shoppers, and she’s seen the best and worst business responses to unrelenting innovation,” said Tim McCracken, Fortium Chairman and CEO. “Jyoti’s deep understanding of e-commerce gives her a unique view of where customers have been and where they are going next, so she’s a natural fit for our National Retail Practice, as well as other businesses that are choosing to embrace technology disruption instead of resisting it.”
“Digital transformation is a broad term that most people associate with technology, but in reality it’s the way every business will operate in the next three to five years. You can’t purchase and implement a transformation; you must instead live it, breathe it and embrace it from a strategic level while keeping the customer center stage,” said Lynch. “Regardless of industry, businesses need to serve their customers with business driven technology solutions that elevate the customer experience. But they need help. I joined Fortium because so many businesses have technology leaders who don’t have the skillsets needed to navigate a technology disruption. Our primary focus is to help show them the way, and I’m thrilled to be a part.”

Lynch holds an M.S. and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri.
