Technology Modernization Expert Ken Russell Joins Fastest Growing Leadership Services Firm Fortium Partners

Dallas, TX – August 2, 2016 – FORTIUM PARTNERS, the world’s fastest-growing provider of IT turnaround and leadership services, today announced that Ken Russell, a transformational leader in logistics, manufacturing and distribution with decades of experience managing technology organizations through disruptive change, has joined the Atlanta practice. Russell is a recognized authority on IT modernization solutions that incorporate new technologies such as cloud, mobile and digital into antiquated systems environments, delivering rapid cost savings and revenue gains.

Russell has extensive experience in leading IT change supporting mergers and acquisitions, divestitures and private equity transactions for midmarket organizations. He has diverse industry experience, including leadership roles at Beavex, Inc. (logistics), Stag-Parkway (distribution), Innotrac Corporation (business services) and Snapper (manufacturing). In addition to his experience in the mid-market, Russell led IT in North America for AGCO Corporation, a Fortune 500 manufacturer of agricultural equipment, where he led technology transitions for four acquisitions and two facility consolidations over a five-year period.

“Ken has consistently been effective during times of disruptive change. When markets collapse, companies move toward bankruptcy, or significant mergers and systems integration are required, he has shown up, created well-designed, practical plans, and quickly turned failure into profit,” said Tim McCracken, Fortium Chairman and CEO. “Our clients come to us for practical, workable solutions, often in times of economic distress. This is when Ken shines, and this is when Fortium shines. We’re excited to have him on the Fortium team, especially with his record of success in manufacturing and distribution.”

“Companies in every industry are challenged to incorporate emerging technologies into outdated legacy systems environments quickly and cost-effectively,” said Russell. “I am excited about the opportunity to collaborate with the tremendously talented team at Fortium to develop modernization programs that optimize long and short term performance improvements for our clients.”

Russell began his career at Andersen Consulting (Accenture) following his graduation from Williams College in Massachusetts.
