Award-Winning Plantronics CIO Tom Gill Joins Fortium Partners


Dallas, TX – July 12, 2016 – FORTIUM PARTNERS, the world’s fastest-growing provider of IT turnaround and leadership services, today announced that Tom Gill, a high-profile global communications pioneer with decades of experience leading companies like Plantronics, Bay Networks and Tandem Computers has joined the San Francisco practice. Gill has nearly three decades of experience managing globally distributed staff and designing and executing business solutions using state-of-the-art technology to improve company culture while simultaneously increasing top line growth.

Prior to joining Fortium, Gill served for 16 years as the vice president and CIO of Plantronics, a global pioneer in audio communications and wearable technology that employs 3,500 employees globally and serves every company in the Fortune 100, 911 dispatch, air traffic control and NYSE. Gill led the team that automated and transformed business processes at Plantronics Mexico resulting in several awards including four consecutive Best Place to Work in Mexico awards and the 2013 US Secretary of State Award for Corporate Excellence. He was recognized as a finalist in the 2015 Bay Area CIO of the Year for Innovation and Business Transformation and is the recipient of the 2012 InfoWeek 500 award and the 2013 Computerworld Premier 100 IT Leaders award.
