Dallas, TX – November 11, 2016 – FORTIUM PARTNERS, the world’s fastest-growing provider of technology leadership services, today announced that Rich Proszowski, sought-after global technologist with a reputation for delivering game-changing results, has joined the Chicago practice. Proszowski has a proven record of leading transformational enterprise initiatives and continuous innovation at firms in a wide variety of industries, including pharmaceuticals, medical products and devices, infant nutrition, consumer goods, food, distribution, steel/metals, packaging, and retail.

Prior to joining Fortium, Proszowski leveraged resources from areas far beyond IT and IS to deliver results that boosted efficiency, productivity, quality and customer satisfaction to record levels while tightly reining in costs as CIO of firms such as Mead Johnson Nutrition, JMC Steel Group, Pactiv / Reynolds Consumer Products, Culligan International, Handy Andy Home Improvement Centers and Baxter Healthcare. He has frequently managed teams of more than 200 employees and budgets approaching $100 million, and is well-versed in strategically implementing and managing a wide variety of hardware, operating system, infrastructure, networking, ERP and software application platforms including: SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, Salesforce, Websphere, Office 365, QAD, Baan, and JDA, among others.

“Rich has a diverse background with one commonality: his experience requires deep familiarity with the consumerization of technology and the expectations consumers have today to gain instant access and immediate gratification for their needs. This brave new omni-channel world requires CIOs to be hyper-vigilant about responding to internal organizations – like marketing, business development and operations – just as closely as meeting external customer needs, and Rich delivers the goods,” said Tim McCracken, Fortium Chairman and CEO. “Rich uses complex IT roadmaps to ensure the technology team is highly valued within an organization, while also safeguarding the security, privacy and legal aspects of doing business. Fortium Partners attracts top CIOs from large corporations like Rich because nothing can be compared to sitting in the C-suite and devising innovative ways to save money and enable the business with technology.”

“You can tell how much a company values IT by where it is positioned in the corporate hierarchy. Organizationally, the CIO role needs appropriate alignment and visibility to help shape and guide business direction. Today’s CIO earns a place on the strategic leadership team by making a positive, powerful impact on the business strategy,” said Proszowski. “I joined Fortium because I’m surrounded by tireless CIO innovators who know the value of technology and its ability to lead to stronger revenues, profit growth and cultural change. There’s no other firm like this one, anywhere.”

Proszowski holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and a bachelor of science from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
