Fortium Partners Procures Automotive Industry Trailblazer

Dallas, TX January 11, 2016 – FORTIUM PARTNERS, the world’s fastest-growing provider of IT turnaround and leadership services, announced today that global technology strategist and automotive industry trailblazer Ted Wozniak has joined the Midwest practice of Fortium Partners. Wozniak brings more than 35 years of technology leadership expertise with world class suppliers and top global brands.

Wozniak most recently led Kainzow Group, where he performed global implementations, served as interim CIO and COO, and managed remediation, outsourcing and transformation projects. Before his consulting practice, Wozniak was the CEO and board member for Powerway, a global software development company that supported several global automotive OEMs. He was brought in to Powerway by the Daimler-Benz M&A team to perform a corporate turnaround and improve Powerway’s performance. Prior to Powerway, Wozniak was the VP, Information Technology, CIO, & Executive Director, Materials Management for Magna International, a global automotive supplier, where he was responsible for implementing the global IT strategy for more than 180 business units.

“Ted has gained public notoriety as an executive willing to take on the most stalwart industries – like government and automotive – and spur long-term change,” said Tim McCracken, Fortium Chairman and CEO. “But a great CIO isn’t built on reputation alone. Ted spent decades of his career serving as interim CIO, virtual CIO and fractional CIO for businesses in need of turnaround or transformation, and that’s an attribute very few technology leaders can bring to the table. He lives on the front lines, helping businesses boost performance every day.”
“Countless businesses these days are investing in technology just to keep pace, but I’ve seen so many organizations struggle to get a return out of that investment,” said Wozniak. “With the right plan and resources, technology can enable any business, even those with limited funds or a dependency on legacy systems. Technology has to be driven by the business, not the other way around. My fellow partners at Fortium are committed to spreading this knowledge to businesses ready for that shift, so I’m glad to be a part of the team.”

Wozniak holds a bachelor’s in business administration and a master’s in management from Aquinas College, and is proficient in Spanish and German.
